About Us

What is Amigos?

Since 1999, Amigos, the Richmond Latino Center’s mission has been to empower the Latinx community to engage actively in Richmond and Wayne County and to promote learning, cooperation and respect across cultures. Amigos values inclusion, diversity, and cultural understanding.

We are the only Latinx serving organization in East Central Indiana. Our focus is on education, health, social services, and creating cultural connections. We have five major programs: Amigos Latinx Leadership Program, English Language Program, Youth Tennis, Basic Needs, and VOCA (Victims of Crime Act).
